  1. What is the difference between ID Cartons and ID Custom?

ID Cartons are a large range of cases that we hold in stock in both Kraft (brown) and white corrugated board. Because they are held in stock they are a lower cost option and can be supplied printed in lower minimum quantities.

ID Custom Cartons are Custom manufactured to your own specifications within the range of possible dimensions (see the sizes at ID Custom). Both Kraft and white Cartons are available. Because they are made especially for you they may take a little longer to supply. We can quote you a delivery date.

Both ID Carton and ID Custom Cartons can be printed in either one colour or two colours

  2. Is it true that I only need one stereo mat to cover a wide range of Carton sizes?

Yes one stereo is all that is needed to print a wide range of sizes. The resulting print, will of course be the same size on all of your range of Cartons so it is wise to choose a print size that will fit the smallest Carton.

  3. I see that the 2 sides of the Carton can be printed but what about the top flaps and base flaps of the Carton?

Yes these can be printed but you may need separate stereo mats for these at a small extra charge. We can quote this for you

  4. What is the minimum print run you can do for ID Cartons and ID Custom Cartons?

We can print a minimum of 100 Cartons and this can include up to 3 different sizes. We will ensure that the stereo mat will be a suitable size to accommodate this for you.

  5. Can the print on the Carton include my bar code?

Yes, that is no problem. You will need to supply us with either the actual bar code or the number (we can generate the bar code itself)

The big advantage of our low minimum lanel runs means that we can print you a few sheets of Labels for all your products each with your individual bar codes!

  6. Why do you offer ID Labels in both sheet and roll Labels? Which should I choose?

The advantage of roll Labels is lower cost to you and they are easier to apply to your product, using a dispenser or applicator. Roll Labels are available in a range of white gloss, white matt and fluorescent colours - see availability chart here and up to 16 printing colours - see the range here) They are suitable where you need accurate application positioning in larger quantities.

If you need more accurate and/or full colour print, you should choose our sheet Labels. The process used for sheet Labels enables us to produce a full colour print with fine detail where required. This is an excellent choice for labeling your luxury products and is suitable for gift shops, florists, photographers and any retailer. See the range of sizes and base colours here.

  7. I cannot find the exact size/colour of label that I need. Can you supply other types?

Yes, we can print a large number of other options for you on a range of different substrates, which just about cover any type of label requirements. The process used for these means that delivery times are a little longer

  8. What is the difference between Polypropylene and PVC?

Polyprop (Polypropylene film) is a lower cost option and ideal when quick release is required at a later date. The rolls are 100 metres in length.

PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) is a superior product, as the adhesive does not dry out too quickly. More suited when a positive longer-term bond is required. Vinyl rolls are 60 metres long.

  9. What is the minimum number of packaging tape rolls I need to order?

The minimum order for Custom printed ID Tapes is one box. To see the number of rolls for each width refer here.

  10. I see you have a range of standard printed tapes available. Do I have to buy a whole box?

No, a large range of standard printed tapes are held in stock. The minimum order is only 6 rolls of one type. We can quote this for you.

  11. Why do you offer both printed and labeled ID Bags?

Labels are ideal for a lower cost option or when you only need a small number of Bags to be branded. You may already have a suitable label or we can print these for you. See ID Label.

For a larger number of Bags, and a more professional product we recommend that you use printed Bags. These are available in full colour and can include your own corporate image including your logo etc. The minimum number of printed Bags is 250.

  12. Can you print onto different coloured Bags?

Yes, we have 2 sizes of white and Kraft brown colours suitable for printing. The charcoal Bags are more suitable for labeling. We will quote the price and delivery to you. Just ask for a quote.

  13. I have my own logo. How do I send it to you?

Email is the easiest way either as a .pdf or .jpeg file. If the file is too large to email (4+MB), you may post or courier it to us. If you prefer, post a copy to us and we will scan into our system so we can incorporate your logo into the artwork.

  14. Will I see a proof of my design before you print it?

Yes we will send you a proof of the artwork you have requested for you to sign off. For brown Kraft Cartons we will supply this on Kraft coloured paper to closely simulate the final result. We will request you to sign off the proof and fax it back to us. You van also email your approval quoting our reference number. We will not begin printing your packaging products until you have signed off the artwork.
